On going to England...
I hope i'd probably be able to stop over in london on way to dubai n watch a couple games in the process during the pak-england series this summer..Looks a little tough though, but lets see...
His comments are brilliant, for my money, and he is well-informed. Also, he makes it interesting when the likes of Ramiz, Shiva, Waqar, Arun are boring all of us to death. To me he is brilliant when you especially compare him with the guyz above mentioned Dean Jones has a good sense of humor and fun to listen to. Also, notices some intricate details that keeps the viewer hooked on in even the most lull moments of the game. I think he is right up there with Chappell, Nicholas, Boycott, Slater, Shastri and Manjrekar.
If Pak can’t do it in 5 sessions, then even 6 wouldn't make a difference. But they should look to declare within the first hour of play. There is always a little more moisture in the first hour, and Pak should utilize that. It could mean a wicket, and at that stage getting Dravid or Sehwag early will be a great boost for them.

Tour diaries My first XI will be: Salman Malik Younis Yousuf Inzamam Afridi Razzy Akmal Rana Shoaib Asif
Bench: Farhat Gul Arshad Raza
I'd love to include Kaneria but on present form, Arshad edges him and there isn't a need of 2 spinners as such.
Also, I feel Malik has the potential to well @ the top. Its a bit of a psychological thing i guess for him and he's got to work out on it. Also he needs to keep his concentration, and really if he consistently fails as an opener then there isn't another place for him.
As for Younis, it just amazed me why he hasn't been able to transfer his form in the ODI circuit. He comes one-down in ODIs as well and has the responsibility to anchor the innings. Just somehow he fails to do so, but I feel he will come good very soon.
